IP Masking

IP masking is needed when someone wants to hide or change their IP to look like something else.  There are some programs that claim to be able to mask your IP or change your IP, but what you usually find is that they are either not anonymous (your real IP still shows) or they are so slow that it makes using them to surf the internet near impossible.  A proxy server is the only reliable solution to masking any IP online.

Proxy servers let you mask IPs by simply giving you a new one.  When you web surf, your computer uses its own IP to access websites and this is where IP activity is logged.  Instead of using your own IP, you connect to the proxy server first and then use it to do your web surfing.  This means that the IP you use isn't your own, it is the IP of the proxy.  You've basically masked your IP and made it impossible for anyone to know your real IP.

To be completely anonymous you need an elite proxy.  Elite proxies allow you to be 100% anonymous because they are used only by one person and the IPs they use are cloaked.  While surfing the internet with an elite proxy, no-one can tell that you are using a proxy.  Even if they examine the IP of the elite proxy, it looks like every other IP online.  You are completely anonymous and no-one can tell that you are sitting behind a proxy server doing your web surfing.
