Do Proxies Work On Craigslist?
Do proxies work on Craigslist? The short answer to this question is yes. Proxies work fine with Craigslist, but many people seem to have problems using proxies while posting ads on Craigslist. The problem is that there are a lot of different kinds of proxies, and only the best type of proxies will work with Craigslist. To post on Craigslist you need a proxy that is 100% anonymous and doesn't reveal itself as a proxy to anyone who examines the IP.
Craigslist filters ads that are posted on it based on geographic location. If you don't live in the USA, then you won't be able to post ads unless you have an IP from the USA. There are a lot of web based proxies and other free proxy providers that can give you a US IP and many people assume that you can use these to post on Craigslist. You can't. This is why people have no luck with most proxies.
If you want a proxy that works with Craigslist, you need an elite proxy. Elite proxies work because they are 100% anonymous and the IPs they use can not be detected as proxy IPs. This means that Craigslist can't tell that your elite proxy IP is a proxy IP. As far as it can tell the IP is a normal IP like every other person from the USA trying to post on Craigslist USA. If you want to post ads on Craigslist USA you need an elite proxy.
Proxies work on Craigslist but only if you get the right kind. An elite proxy will give you an IP that works with Craigslist.
